Crisis on Infinite Earth has left few unturned stones to please the fans. While the filming of the grand Arrowverse crossover is still on, there were reports that Lucifer star Tom Ellis was spotted on the Vancouver sets of Crisis on Infinite Earths.
With David Ramsey (John Diggle) of Arrow, Katherine McNamara (Mia Smoak) and Matt Ryan (John Constantine) of Legends of Tomorrow, Tom Ellis was seen filming a scene on the sets.
Since Ellis and Matt Ryan (respectively Lucifer Morningstar and John Constantine) both play the Vertigo side of the DC Universe protagonists, it will be appropriate to see both of them come together. There are also chances that Lucifer and Constantine since the supernatural investigator of Ryan were known to visit hell on the occasion, may know each other well enough.
The real devil is not actually the first DC character to join hands with a bunch of superheroes to save the world, unlike what you likely expect. While the story of Ellis works with the police to solve killings, it’s not a big leap.
Just yesterday we had our first look at the set of 1960s Batman actor Burt Ward, who could play Dick Grayson’s older version. On the other side, another sneak peek announced Lian Yu’s return with at least one Easter egg offering a reference to the Dark Knight of Michael Keaton. The set pic to beat though is probably the big team-up picture on board the Waverider featuring several Arrowverse characters–including two supermen, Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh.
Witnessing so many different DC characters in the Arrowverse Context of the Infinite Earths Crisis would certainly be interesting.
